Technical Lead - AI

A hands-on role reporting to the VP of AI, bringing AI features into WSO2's products. What you will do: - Find opportunities and shape new AI and agent capabilities across the product range - Work with agent skills, context engineering, memory, RAG, MCP, multi-agent systems and evaluation - Take features from prototype to production with product and engineering teams - Set architectures and practices for running AI systems reliably at scale - Lead technical direction on AI governance, security, guardrails and agent identity - Evaluate new models and tools, and contribute to open-source and industry communities What you need: - Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or similar - At least 5 years in software engineering, AI or related work - Hands-on LLMs, generative AI, agentic systems, AI gateways and observability - Strong system design, distributed systems, APIs and cloud native architecture - Technical leadership, with the ability to lead small teams and work across several product teams WSO2 also offers flexible working culture, a vacation plan and family health insurance.
