AI Engineer - Octave

A full-stack AI role in Octave, the group's advanced analytics team, building and running AI applications in production. What you will do: - Build AI and agentic applications - Create services using model APIs such as Google Vertex, Azure OpenAI and Hugging Face, handling state, rate limits, caching and privacy - Build document ingestion, embeddings, vector databases (Chroma, Pinecone, Milvus) and RAG - Develop prompt templates and safety filters to control errors, cost and user intent - Build backends with FastAPI or Node.js, and user interfaces - Handle Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, monitoring and incident response What you need: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or similar - Proven experience building complex AI applications - GenAI and agent frameworks such as LangGraph and LlamaIndex - MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB, plus React or NextJS - AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, with Docker and Kubernetes - Independent problem-solving and leadership qualities
