Senior EDI Engineer

Build and maintain EDI integrations, fix production issues and mentor other engineers. What you will do: - Design and maintain parsers and generators for EDIFACT, ANSI X12, XML, JSON and flat files - Trace failed messages, find root causes and fix them permanently - Turn customer mapping specifications into configuration and code, and validate before go-live - Review code and set standards for error handling, reprocessing and observability - Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Copilot and Cursor, and build AI-enabled internal tools, checking their output - Improve CI/CD, testing and monitoring, and work with product, DevOps and customers What you need: - Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Management, Engineering or similar - 8+ years in backend or integration engineering, including 6+ years of hands-on EDI - Deep knowledge of EDIFACT or ANSI X12 - Strong backend language such as Python, Java, Node.js or C#, plus SQL - AS2, SFTP, REST APIs and message queues - Proven use of AI tools, root-cause analysis and mentoring skills - Preferred: freight forwarding, 3PL or supply chain experience.
