Data Scientist - Octave

Join Octave, the group's advanced analytics team, working on statistics and machine learning for its businesses and outside clients. What you will do: - Run statistical analyses on large datasets to find trends and insights - Build predictive and descriptive models using supervised and unsupervised methods - Design experiments to measure the value of model-driven actions - Work with data engineers, ML engineers, BI engineers and delivery associates to deploy solutions - Document models, code and assumptions, and take part in code reviews - Explain findings to technical and non-technical people, and keep up with best practice What you need: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or similar - Python, and sound statistics and probability knowledge - A strong plus: machine learning methods and libraries such as NumPy and scikit-learn - Comfort in agile, diverse teams, with strong communication and a drive to learn and experiment
