Manager - Litigation and Claims

Handle litigation and claims for all John Keells Group business units. The ad says to apply by 15 November 2026. What you will do: - Instruct outside counsel, prepare and file court documents, and appear in court when needed - Draft pleadings, motions and other case documents - Help with police and CID complaints, and inquiries by regulators such as the Consumer Affairs Authority, Public Health Inspector and Sri Lanka Customs - Give strategic advice on disputes and claims, and manage pre-litigation matters - Review commercial agreements and do routine notarial work What you need: - Attorney-at-Law (a Law degree is an advantage) - At least 8 years of post-qualifying experience in these areas - Notary Public licensed to practise in Colombo in English - Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills, and able to meet deadlines under pressure
